Always painting and breaking the bed-Tiny House Tanzania Episode 5

Well it seems I am back at the one activity I seem to do more of than anything else-painting.  I used to enjoy painting.  I am not so sure anymore.  I still enjoy the task just I have painted so many buildings and the water tank by brush it is overwhelming at times.  You will have to check the video for an explanation of why I paint by brush here.

The work on the house continues thought slower than I hoped.  Part of that is due needing to complete my site work as well as working on my house.  This week, Isayah came bringing me the large hand drill to see if I could fix it.  He had used a small drill bit in it instead of using the small hand drill.  To get it to catch he over tightened it to the point of stripping the threads.  That drill is pretty much gone.  Have finally finished painting the outside of the pre-school.  Still need to install the chair rails inside.

The other reason for getting behind is the one I discussed a week or so ago about storing items from one room in the other.  It really cuts your time down when you have about an hour of moving items around every day.  It also does not help when you overload the small wooden bed frame you built with items from the kitchen and it breaks.  I put a quick fix (band aid repair) until I start working in the bedroom.

Add all that to the hours spent everyday getting water for the work, water for cleaning, water for laundry and water for cooking and drinking.  I hope I remember to appreciate all the folks here go through everyday whenever I come back home.

Here is this weeks episode, I hope you enjoy. If you are having trouble viewing it in the blog here is the link to it on youtube   https://youtu.be/4EsvWeCmT20

Here is the difference painting the kitchen made to how well the lights work now.  The first photo is the bedroom which has not been painted with windows closed and one light on and the second is the kitchen after painting with windows closed and one light on.

I will most likely be missing in action for a couple of weeks on the blog as I will be meeting up with my parents and older brother who are coming to visit.  Looking forward to lots of fun and great food and wonderful time with my family.  Please keep my uncle Charles Hendrix in your prayers as he has been in the hospital and I am hearing that he is having a rough time right now.*UPDATE*  Charles went to be with God early Friday morning (I may have that wrong with time differences).  Please pray for his wife, son, daughter-in-law and grandson.
